We're often asked if Cheqbook supports foreign currencies and bank accounts, I have to respond that formally we do not at this time and have no immediate plans to do so.
However, we have a surprisingly large number of users outside the United States, primarily because our data provider Intuit includes foreign banks in their list of available financial institutions. The currency symbols doesn't change, and you certainly DON'T want to mix two different currencies in one company (like both U.S. and Canadian denominated accounts), and we don't support VAT taxes (the most common type of tax around the world).
That is not to say in any way we endorse this, we're frankly a little surprised it works, but apparently it does for some countries around the world, especially English speaking nations.
