Troubleshooting Performance Issues

If you experience performance issues, please try these tips below.

• Test your internet connection speed. You can use a free service such as SpeedTest to check your connection speed.
• Consider using Google Chrome for your browser. Cheqbook makes extensive using of Javascript. Currently, Chrome has the fastest Javascript enginer. It is available for Windows/Mac/Linux.
• When using the General Ledger or Reports, try limiting the date range you are working with to a smaller time period.
• Shut down other applications. Applications that are streaming audio or video will be taking up bandwidth. Some applications may take up memory
• If you have another PC available, try that machine. Cheqbook's experience on a newer or faster machine will be more smooth.
